If you need a minute to google Muscat, go ahead. I’ll wait. It’s okay.
Not everyone is familiar with the seaside town of Muscat located on the Arabian Peninsula.
But, if you’re planning a Middle East adventure, then you will want to add Muscat into your plans and a stay at the Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace.
Surrounded by mountains and located on the most beautiful pristine beach, the Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace resort provides a lovely home away from home to explore all of what Muscat has to offer.
From the moment you enter the breathtaking lobby, the staff at the Ritz Carlton greets you with generous hospitality.
A harpist is just one of the wonderful musicians that you can enjoy in the lobby.
The resort’s main pool is so inviting that you might spend your entire vacation on the same pool lounger.
Guests will appreciate the easy beach access and snorkelers can enjoy the clear, blue water right off the beach.
I loved the blues that decorate the Al Bustan Lagoon room and who wouldn’t enjoy a terrace with direct access to the lagoon pools?
If you think you need more space then opt for one of the larger suites. They are lovely.
Tip: The resort’s China Mood restaurant is making a name for itself as one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in Muscat. Make a dinner reservation here.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a Chinese Tea Ceremony at China Mood.
I have no pictures to show you because I was so mesmerized.
I didn’t want to miss anything.
It was beautiful.
During your stay, I’m sure you will get to experience the kindness of the Omani people just like I did.
From Mohammed’s morning wake-up calls to Abdul, our guide to the Wahiba sands, everyone I met in Muscat was genuinely happy for us to be there. We were welcomed with open arms.
I can’t wait for my next visit to Oman and my stay at the Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace.
Oh, and I got to ride a camel in the Wahiba Sands during my trip. I did get a picture of that. Thanks Arlene!
